The Bathurst  Toposcope Monument
The monument was constructed in the 1960s and was restored and extended in 2018. The original part of the monument has granite plaques that indicate where the 1820 Settler parties were placed.   The new terrace commemorates the Xhosa Chiefs who confronted the Settlers in 1820.
